Yeah thats exactly what I just said, the developers dont have to be there to show it off during the Microsoft confrence. Only if they were going to have it on the show floor would they have to be there.

Anyway I do think there is a big possibility, they havnt announced a game since DOAX 2 which was a while back, so I think now would be a good time to announce it.

lol, I wasn't aware that Tecmo's Team Ninja group was a 1st/2nd party developer for Microsoft. I believe being 3rd party they can decide whether or not they want to be anywhere even without Microsoft's 'blessing.' :P

Thats what I was expecting in the first place, they have no other reason besides NG2 to be there since all their other games have been released, that is unless they planned on showing off DOA5 and DOAX3, and its too early for that.

I don't even own a PS3, so I have nothing to gain by wishing for this game to be multiplat. My post was in response to other posts that questioned whether or not Team Ninja has to be there to reveal NG2 footage. It's as if suggesting NG2's presence is a necessity to them [Microsoft] having a good show.

And so far in this generation, the exclusivity of third party titles is questionable.

I was thinking that NGS's sales would determine the outcome...like if it sold better, Itagaki would change systems, regardless I wouldnt buy it, I didnt even buy Sigma and I have never beaten a Ninja Gaiden game, not enough ninja in it.

Well as I stated before I would not buy it regardless, but it seems as though Itagaki is a loyal 3rd party developer, and that is something that is very rare.(lol I ended my sentence with rare then thought about how rare screwed Nintendo over with the Gamecube haha).Kahuna_1

Team Ninja are still under tecmo. If Tecmo decides not to be there, then Team Ninja simply won't be there as well.

Kojima productions like to do their own things as well, just as long as Konami is involved.

the only way we would see NG2at E3 would be if it were to be showcased during the MS conference.
