It's quite possible a NG2 port will surface down the line dependant upon Sigma's performance though. It is 100% no way the game will release simultaneously on both consoles though. No chance at all. NG2 will obviously be headed up by Itagaki. Well, he's a 1 platform at a time man, which he has stated MANY times. He let his protoge do Sigma while he was still going full steam ahead on 360. He has stated he will not comprimise 1 game to program it for multiple systems simultaneously. So once NG2 is done, if it ends up being financially worthwhile, he'll let his protoge do the same with NG2. But there's no way they'll hit at the same time

Teh crystal ball!, but yeah that should be the case, Gow3 is still going to be amazing, i wouldn't use so many ">" because that's idiotic. Had Ninja Gaiden have a story it would of got higher than 9.4. Best action game last gen....until God of War 2 comes out.

The difference is MSG2 was a chance for MS fans to show they have love for the seires. THey showed none. That is why it never went mulitplat because all its fans are with sony and it sold well on a Sony only platform. NG sold poorly on the Xbox and that is why it is going multiplat. If Sigma does well which it will, NG2 will be on the PS3 pretty soon. A playstation console can give Tecmo the Japanese audience, one that a MS console can never do. And you think a Ninja game wont sell well over there? NG2 will most likly be on the PS3 if Sigma does well, NG was shown no love last gen so it goes multiplat to make money. Thats how games go.

easy konami wanted to see how their game will sell on to xbox owners. guess what it failed. NG sold horriably on the xbox. so why wouldnt tecmo not bring it to the ps3? Tecmo must feel most japanese ppl will pick ps3 over the 360 just obovious do you not think? but hey i dont care im nto a fany boy so i dont care what happnes. ill be playing this game because i love NG.

Now that's what I call a legit reason. :P I hated the camera as well, don't get me wrong, but I decided to give it some more time. I'm so glad that I did that because the game is great. I've got over a hundred hours on it now. And to think I gave up on it when I first bought it.
I love topics like these. Comparing two games that aren't even in pre-development (this is true for GOW3, not sure about NJ2) and saying one is better than the other. This is purely opinion, and frankly, it reeks of fanboyism.  :?

You can say that again. It's really hard for me to even predict based on my tastes. I loved NG and NGB which I thought were better the GoW. Then along comes GoW2 which beats out NG and NGB. I'll just have to play both.

Fact? Neither of the games have even been announced! God forbid someone on this board uses logic...
God of War 3 is totally coming. Therefore, there is no argument. God of War 3+SIgma>Ninja Gaiden 2. However, God of War 2 is underrated. Case in point: Gamespot. 9.2 as compared with an average 9.6. Plus, play the game. Play it. It's spectacular. It is the best action game on the market, and the best action game on PS2 hands down.
Yeah. There's IGN's official take. You can say what you want about the game and Itagaki's support for the console, but the honest truth is no one knows whether this game will be coming out for any platform, or whether it will be an exclusive deal, a timed exclusive, or what have you.
