Same dont have the xbox..I played a few seconds of ngb on the xbox at my friends house..but it was hard. i got used to playin sigma im gettin better now. Â
Those screens look amazing.
I bought this game twice (1 x NG and 1 x NGB) and if I had a PS3 I would buy it again.
This game is truly amazing.
To all (future) PS3 owners: Get this game so Team Ninja will get the respect they deserve.

While I agree with you that (at least in my memory) NGB looked a bit better than that picture,
(looks a bit washed out here)Â
I gotta say those pictures of NGS still look significantly better then NGB does (on my TV at least)
It looks like it will be pretty solid. Cearly the PS3 got a very upgraded NG. I didn't notice before though how the background was so blurry!
Â
I suppose it's a trade off for the really nice character models and immediate environment.

I think that about says it all right there. It obviously looks remarkably better. Add in the new features with the next gen polish, and you have a perfect next-gen version of one the greatest action games ever made....exclusively for the PS3. I believe TN made Sigma in order to give Playstation owners who never played the original a taste of what they will be getting when NG2 is on PS3 as well.;)
I wouldn't go that way if I were you. Chances are that the same engine that is beeing used on Sigma, will probably be the one used on Ninja Gaiden 2. And I'm yet to play either:cry:

Highly doubt it, it will most likely be far more advanced. Since Ninja Gaiden Sigma is an upgraded version of Ninja Gaiden Black, it will not have a different engine really since they want it to play the same. But Ninja Gaiden 2 will be a completely new game so they will most definitely make alot of changes to it including the engine.
Otherwise NG2 would be out by the begining of next year, because they would already have the graphics and the engine all they would need to do is make new levels and a story.
I expect a lot to be different in NG2, i'm expecting Team Ninja to build that game up from scratch, designing it for this gen.
While NGS does look nice I was expecting much more. I think characters lack detail and skin textures are bland, but thats trade mark Team Ninja. I think what people mean when they say this is, that Team Ninja like to max out graphics and this isn't really what I expected from them, but then it is just an upgrade so... And as you PS fans say they are still getting to know the system. Trust me, you will understand in time as they continue to support the PS3.
I know PS fans are happy about it and they should be, its a great game, but these are not the next gen NG graphics, NG2 will have that, I hope.
EDIT: I have to say though, I saw a trailer for DMC4 and im not impressed at all, I don't know what the fuss is about, NGS looks much better than that. Can any PS fans who have played any of the DMC series and a NG game or the NGS demo, tell me how they compare?

i agree about DMC 4.. looks really underwhelming.. i don't think that game will be very good.danneswegman
I agree based on what I've seen from a graphic level, but gameplay? Its just too early to say, tho I'm not expecting something completely different from DMC3.... At least from what I've seen.
Oh and Darth_Dumas, I definitely agree with that possiblity. Since considering many peoples impressions of NGB graphics and DOA graphics, Team Ninja usually exceeds many developers in that department.Â
Unless and until it reaches the point where fanboys are signing petitions and arranging boycotts, you have NO room to talk, bud. SW is SW, and that's where that kind of stuff belongs, if anywhere. DMC4 going multi- reached across boundaries, forming it's own unit intent on delivering a message to Capcom themselves. This is nothing compared to that. Shame on you and your poor short-term memory.THETRUEDOZAH
Problem here is that NGS is exclusive for the PS3 and DMC4 is multiplat, but also on the PS3. It's a win win situation for Sony fans.
