This may be the last Nintendo Direct before the "storm" (i.e. Switch 2) on April 2nd.

Cool. Not sure what they’ll show here given that they have the Switch 2 one next week but I definitely look forward to watching it.

I figured that rumored Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War remake would be a Switch 2 launch game, but now I'm thinking it may be a Switch 1 swan song. Other than that, I don't know what to expect from this...

... actually, I do. A few more remasters and remakes.

Switch 1s last hurrah. I wonder if they are going to demo MP4 on the Switch more or will they keep that powder dry for the Switch 2 reveal.

I love how Nintendo actually tries to surprise us. There used to be a time when more companies did that!

I don't expect it to happen ever again but the build-up to MP3 was enhanced with the M.P. channel on Wii. Will we ever see such a thing happening again? Unfortunately, I say no.

Price cut on the Switch? Sure, that's an announcement I don't see that happening...

No need for one from a business perspective of course. $250 or even $200 is a pipedream but one I'd welcome.

I suspect they will take a leaf out of Nvidias book. Rather than cut the price, I suspect Nintendo will just stop production of the standard and OLED models pretty soon. They will produce the lite until a lite 2 is ready to go. Just a hunch on my part though.

I do hope we see some of the playfulness of the wii/wiiu and 3DS return to the Switch 2 OS. One thing I don't like about the Switch is the OS ui is jut a bit too basic. It works fine and is quick but it's just...bleh.

Interesting. Gotta just be a few ports/remasters. I assume any brand new games are going to Switch 2. Hopefully there's something hype-worthy shown. Some Metroid or Zelda?

Would love to get Windwaker HD and Twilight Princess HD. My body is so ready for this. $40 each, I'll do it.

Won't expect much, so i'll just watch any trailer releases tomorrow evening. Playing too much Xenoblade right now.

There'll probably be a bunch of cross-platform games. The Switch 2 will be backwards compatible, so it doesn't need to disrupt the release schedule too much.

I'm going to take a wild stab and say this showcase will include a release date for Slay the Spire 2. I think they'll leave the big first party titles for next week.

Also...a Chrono Trigger remake/remaster. It's the 30th anniversary this year. They have to announce something.

Labo 2 completely overshadows Switch 2 launch and becomes the best selling console of all time.

@SolidGame_basic: Nintendo has done it again. People will refer this as a masterclass of self-sabotage, Nintendo just dropped Nintendo LABO 2.0, a sequel that somehow everyone is now obsessed with.

Preorders for LABO 2.0 will sell out instantly. Scalpers charge $500 for a piece of corrugated cardboard shaped like a steering wheel. Youtube channels build entire content empires around the LABO Piano Battle Royale. The internet explodes with people crafting full-fledged mechs out of cereal boxes, and suddenly, cardboard is cool again.

The Switch 2? Nintendo tries to hype it up, but the trailers are buried under 8-hour unboxing videos of the LABO 2.0 Deluxe Kit. The Switch 2 sits in stores, untouched, while people camp outside Best Buy for a cardboard submarine.

Miyamoto becomes flustered and holds a press conference saying “We didn’t expect this to happen, we'll make sure we produce more cardboard to meet demand.”

At this point, Nintendo has no choice. They end up canceling the Switch 2 entirely and pivot fully into a cardboard-based future.

LABO 3.0 gets announced within weeks: the first 100% cardboard console with an OLED display that you draw on with a Crayola crayon as the central gimmick for gameplay possibilities.

And thus, Nintendo's fate is sealed. Sony and Microsoft watch in horror as their high-powered consoles are outperformed by a pizza box.

Can't wait for the next wave of next-gen Amiibo. Never bought one, but still I'm excited.

1-2-3 Switch is going to be next level. 1,000 vs 1,000 online multilayer milking the utters is going to be bonkers.

Lending digital games, nice. Wish it was more flexible though. But finally people are thinking about this. Awesome, Nintendo.

You can definitely see the need for Switch 2 in these games, especially the Pokémon game
