That's probably because DS games are what, 50MB? Still, you wonder why we never see people scream about handheld gaming dieing. Piracy on the PC is still very large, but that downward spiral wasn't because of restrictive DRM but because of games becoming more affordable and easier to purchase through DD services.

Actually DS piracy is a major problem If Nintendo wasn't selling a godly amount of DS's with some people owning the many itterations and alot of those folks being kids and soccer moms then it would be an even larger problem.

Pretty abysmal all things considered.

Being the anti pirate I am, It really does annoy me when these kinds of numbers comes out.

The first thing that always happens are every camp of gamer points fingers at eachother attempting to come out of it NOT as the loser, but when things settle down most of us begin to notice that "Uh oh this aint good" every single platform has pirates, reguardless of it being PC, consoles or handhelds.

We all know that the Pubs and devs will try to take measures, and the worse it becomes, the worse measures will be taken.

I will almost garantee that COnsole gamers next hardware gen, is in for a horrible surprise, in the area of "games linked to accounts" "game streaming" and "in no way do the gamer own the content on the disc".

So the muppets that ruin it for the rest of us? We send our lack of thanks -.-

The DS is just that good. I'd rather they buy the games though than pirate them, but it's pretty clear they favor the DS as their system of choice.

The chart in no way indicates PC piracy is going down. Only that it is going down relative to other systems.

The chart doesn't indicate the size of the pie, only that the PC slice is smaller this year. If the pie is twice as big as last year, all the systems increased in piracy, the PC just increased less than the others.
