Gamecube graphics and analog sticks what souds so sweet & we would need goldeneye 2 for it :)SuperHalomarioI dont think gamecube graphics are out of the question entirely but I do think that about the analog stick simply because of how usefull the psp proved it could be. though I suppose If they made it like the control sticks on a gamecube pad then it might work the problem then would be you could no longer carry it around in your pocket

Umm the next DS is just DSi. And no. It won't use disks. That's SONY's department. They're both awesome, But Nintendo should stay with cartridges.
Nintendo`s next system:
Won`t be called DS 2, that`s not like Nintendo, maybe DS Advance or something :P
Will have better graphics
Will still have touch screen and microphone, and maybe motion sensing. Not like the Wii, more like the PS3 controller, we shake the handheld and the game`ll respond (who played Wario Ware Twisted in the GBA know what I mean).
Will play movies, music
Will have DLC
PSP 2
Will be called Playstation Portable 2, because that`s Sony`s way of doing things :P
Will have FAR better graphics, maybe better than the PS2 (well, PSP has better graphics than PS1)
Still will have DLC and play movies, music, demos
Uhhh, maybe Sony will copy the touch screen or the mic... But I hope they doesn`t otherwise I`ll lose my faith in them.
I doubt DS 2 will use discs, I think Nintendo will stick to cartridges. (longer battery, and shorter load times) I guess DS 2 will have Gamecube graphics and an analogue. And PSP 2 will have 2 analogue sticks.Master-Thief-09
If Nintendo stick to cartridges then they wont be able to have gamecube like graphics. The only reason why the DS has a lower battery consumption and has lower load times is because the games on the DS are far less demanding. The reason why they are far less demanding than PSP games is because they are not as advanced. Nintendo will need to switch to discs with the next DS if they want to keep up with Sony's technology (Doubt they care.) or to even actually improve the DS's capabilities. There's only so much you can do with a storage medium with such a low capacity.

I expect it to be a new Game Boy, actually. It probably will be disk-based, and the graphics will be comparable to early or mid-life PS2 (ie, much better 3D capabilites, but not anything like GoW II). I think (and hope) they'll keep the touch screen, but also have analog control. More multimedia would be great.
The PSP 2 is a different story. Sony has to be careful to make the system powerful enough to handle bigger FPS and actioners, but also keep the price down to a competitive level.
Neither of these are going to be announced until E3 of '10 at the earliest. Nintendo will probably wait longer, since the DS is still selling about a billion per day, and the DSi hasn't even been released in NA yet.
Of course, this is all baseless speculation. I don't think it will be too far from the truth, though.
