GDC was never for the fans >_>

i'm pretty sure there were a lot of closed doors you know, but on the Wii note, IGN said they will be revealing games one week after GDC so more info is really awesome :D MKWii will own much more than i expected ^_^

do you even know what GDC stands for? seriously this thread is like the flop of the day, GDC was never ment for annoucing super cool looking games, its not E3 its for the developers to show their new tech to help gaming and crap.

I'm a huge Wii fan and to me Microsoft had the best GDC. Particularly their XNA announcement. I've dabbled in indie game development and I'm going to have 3 months off this year and I'm thinking about forming a team and seeing if we can squeeze out something cool in those 3 months.

The 360 had Gears 2, Too Human, NG2, Fable 2, and Community Games. Don't forget it.

Gears 2 was expected? Funny, because every cow on this board doubted Reyes360 when he said it was coming in 08'. Fable 2 wasn't expected either.

Actually today is the last day, but Nintendo did have a big GDC Bigger then they did last year but I don't know who the clear winner is since GDC is just for Developers and not for the fans.

It's GDC, not E3. It's supposed to be about developers talking to other developers about boring stuff that the majority of us don't and won't understand. It's not meant for big announcements.

GDC stands for Game Developers Conference not super mini-E3 where new games are announced. The only reason Sony did it last year because around that time DMC4 went multi and all hell was breaking loose. Sony would have been crazy to not announce anything. Now M$ is in something similar based on the fact that they had nothing for the year. Is any of this making sense?
