• - That puppy game in Wii Sports NOT tailored to hardcore gamers.
• - Wii Music dissapointing.

• + Resistance 2 showcased tailored to hardcore gamers.
• + Exclusive trailers for God of War 3, Killzone 2, and Resistance 2
• + PSN games look good.
• + Eternal Sonata ported from Xbox360 wreckage.
• - The biggest Sony Platform Exclusive is announced Multiplatform.

IMO the negative news at E3 for Sony outweights any of the gifs of Nintendo's press conference. They lost Final Fantasy XIII.

Your saying that Sony lost is based entirely on an announcement made at a MS conference.

Basing the value of the Sony conference solely on the conference itself makes it pretty difficult to say that they lost.

Eh, the only part that really annoyed me with the conference is when they started talking about video download. Personally I just want a video game console, not a stupid media center device.

From the gamres point of view, how is the loss of exlusivity of FFXIII a bad thing? It's certainly a bad thing from the dev/retailer/invester point of view, but if you're going by their point of view, Nintendo won hands down anyway.Tylendal

nintendo's confrenece was SALES SALES SALES, animal crossing, and wii music. and that is 100% fail.

sony at least announced some new exclusives that sounded actually good. plus they didn't talk about sales the entire time.
