Yeah and I made hype threads about Shin Megami Tensei IV and Project X Zone and very few people cared.

I'll get Rune Factory IV when I get money.

Bills, Food, and Family > Video Games.

I watched a friend play it for like 10 minutes last night. Now I was older by the time the cartoon hit in US, and never got into it. But watching him play Y, I cant for the life of me see what is drawing people to it. I was not impressed

Eh, it probably is better than Pokemon. That aside, I'll wait for a sale. I actually was gonna buy it for $25 digitally day one, but didn't.

I just went to GameStop and picked it up, they said it was the last one, that they only got like 3 of them.

Unless you pirated the game, I doubt it. Unless you replaced the internal battery.

@LegatoSkyheart: I got SMT4 purely because people recommended it to me on here. I've only played a few JRPGS and didn't really like them but the game seems great so far. Only played a little bit though because pokemon.

SMT IV is like Pokemon X and Y done better, minus the awesome Pokemon and with some meh demons instead.

Lets see people who buy pokemon x/y are buying a 3ds game. People who play pokemon x/y also need to buy a 3ds. So I would say they are supporting the 3ds. Even if they play it on a 2ds they are still supporting Nintendo because they bought a 2ds.

And rune factory sucks.

I thought about it, but I'm still been playing Project X Zone, it never seems to end, though I think I'm close and I kind of don't want it to end. Thought about picking up the new Ace Attorney on 3DS if I have enough time between Project X Zone and whenenever Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds releases. Been looking into a new JRPG to try, I've thought of both Rune Factory 4 or maybe the Etrian Odyssey IV since if I like that there's another game for the 3DS.

Anyhow, I support my 3DS plenty. This year bought Luigi's Mansion, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Soul Hackers, Shin Megami Tensei IV, I'm playing Project X Zone now, plan on picking up new Ace Attorney and Zelda. And when I got my 3DS in March this year I picked up Mario 3D World, Star Fox, Ocarina of Time, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, Mario Kart 7, among a few others... I already have like a dozen 3DS games and like another half-dozen+ downloadable titles, and there's many other new games that interest me like I mentioned above, and even older games I still haven't tried I've thought about getting.

I'm thinking about trading my Pokémon X in... as credit towards a 3DSXL w/ Zelda. I haven't traded a single game out of the hundreds I've bought in the past 8 years... but I don't see myself putting much more time into Pokémon... I'm not a fan of the series... and I played this one just to give the series a REAL chance.... if this is the best Pokémon has ever been, then I feel bad for people that keep buying them.

Granted the raising / battling pokemon is deeper than I previously thought.... but there is nothing else to the game... the world is about as simple as they come, the writing may as well have been written by a 7 year old... story? WHAT STORY? Go fill your Pokedex?

I'd rather play Mass Effect or Bioshock or Assassin's Creed or Infamous.... or... well just about anything, really. There are far better games available for the 3DS right now... and I wish I hadn't spent $90 on Pokémon X/Y.... well X anyway... Y was for my son.
