Nintendo going downhill...

I've always been a Nintendo fan....I never was a Sony fan. I haven't gotten a Wii and I don't really plan to. In my opinion Nintendo reached its peak in terms of quality gaming experience with the GameCube which was a great console. Then Wii came out and everything seemed to change. Nintendo doesn't seem to be what it used to be.

And please don't mention sales I am well aware of that. When did gamers become robots that followed the crowd. I thought things were supposed to be judged on a quality basis. Ashlee Simpson sold a lot of albums but that doesn't mean she was an amazing singer.

But IMO nintendo let down this Gen...not enought good 3rd party games, Few first party games...Brawl wasent that good, i got tired of Mario Kart, i do know there coming out with more Mario/Zelda games but dammit im tired of these same charaters/settings from nintendo..hopefully Madworld will be good and become a hit franchise...

Yeah.. as you can see I have been really negative about the Wii on this forum, and that's because Nintendo is not what they used to be. NES, SNES, N64 were awesome. GC was decent, and the Wii is just a change that they made, and its not a very good one.crazy-player

Exactly, they still make great games, but they are now focusing on a different audience.

Yes Nintendo has definitely gone downhill, E3 just proved to me that they don't care about us anymore and they'd rather release Wii Sports: Board games and Wii Sports: Suck my **** than a Kid Icarus, Zelda, Pikmin or any other game that appeals to most of us.

Well Nintendo won't give us the games we want but at least 3rd party companies have great games that are coming soon like Tales of Symphonia: DotNW, The Conduit, Tenchu 4, Fragile, Sadness, Disaster(first party but you know...), Monster Hunter 3, Dead Rising, FF CC: Crystal Bearers,etc

Of course, I was also looking forward to seeing those games at E3, but they are still being made, so I'm not going to go complain about "Nintendo's downfall".

yea yea...but wat happens to the system when those games have already gotten boring.......i really dont give a $##t about my wii any more...which sucks cuz i wanna like it but nothing looks compelling in comparison to what i could buy on either my ps3 or my 360

not to mention my psp has more advanced online gaming than my wii lol
