No, they wouldn't. They'd have bought their PS3/360 or whatever and bashed Nintendo's console for not doing well or not being innovative.

Well, obviously he's saying that Nintendo is lucky enough to be competent at what it does, something which he seems to imply Sony and MS aren't. /sarcasm
it's best referred to fixing their previous mistake. The Gamecube wasn't anything new and just had better graphics. Yes, if Nintendo decided to stick with just "improving graphics," it would probably be dead last in the current gen console race. So by fixing this, they came up with something innovative and brought something differnt to the table. i don't know how that's called lucky. unless someone at Nintendo got hit in the head with a tv remote, than that's a difernt story
