Nintendo has restored (at least partially) my faith in gaming

I'm so stoked about 3DS that I'm about to explode from the joy. For me it looks like an ultimate winning machine having the technological prowess to cater both core experience of AAA quality and some really experimental stuff using 3D technology, like some really quirky adventure/puzzle/platformer games...Plus games such as Epic Mickey are reasons I want to buy a Wii now, not to mention new Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong, Kid Icarus, etc. Seriously, I don't even play my 360 anymore almost at all. The last game I've played and finished was Alan Wake and that was a whole month ago, I'm not really tempted to buy myself PS3 again, I occasionally play on my DS, but Wii and the upcoming titles on it are something that makes me excited.

If this was regarding the Wii i would have slapped you. That console offers me NOTHING, bar Monster Hunter ... But you're talking about the 3DS, which looks to amazing.

Well E3 has made me want a Wii again so I might get that soon.

I am definitely getting the 3DS but not day one. I'm waiting for the 3DS Lite.

I would definitely recommend a Wii. It has a good line-up of unique titles that the other platforms just don't offer. Wii60 is a good plan!

Also, the 3DS is just too good to be true. So many styles of play with motion, tilt, touch, microphone, 3D, and who knows what else. Plus, the graphics are pretty good, too!

Similar to you TC, last game I've played was RDR, and the online was pretty disappointing on that too. Got a Wii recently so I've been playing that a lot lately. Every day feels like another day waiting for the 3DS :P

Well my wii has been collecting dust and now I have something to look forword to. Last game I played was NMH2. They havent restored my faith mainly cause I never lost it. They just finally had a great E3 that showed me something.
