they are not doing the right thing for long time gamers. example i bought my wii the same time i got my 360 and i own 7 games for the 360 and only 2 for the wii. i play my 360 everyday and the wii only to check for a new update.

bottomline is the wii was never made to last and its boring the hell out of me.

i see what you did there lol. but honestly imo the wii is like nintendos placeholder system. what change has been done. the games arent any different. nothing new is being done new gameplay wise and graphics wise for that matter either

That's not entirely true because some of the Wii games have depth to them but they don't appeal to me. The problem with Wii is that it is avery bareboned system, not much in term of thrills. Another thing is that some ofits games were already out on the GC or PS2, so hardly amazing.

You are still playing the same style of game, just with new controls.

What you find fun in gaming must be so wildly differant from what I find fun I bet we dont really even enjoy the same hobby.

The most important thing controls can do is be so smooth you dont consider the at all. The more complex a game can be and still allow you to forget about what your hands are doing the better.

The wii has its selling points to me, and some really good if not great games are still to come on it.

Playing games on the DS is one of the worst gaming exp. I have ever had.

ive only played loz tp out of that list and the game was way to easy. 5 hits to kill a boss what the hell was that crap. and madden has alot more depth than most games. you can really to the difference from a good player and a great player when watching someone play

Two really bad examples. Anyone cam pick up and play Halo or madden yes.... but the online competative nature of those games insures a level of depth that casuals want nothind to do with.

In reality? I dont hate the Wii or the DS. I hate people who consider them some sort of virtue of gaming though.

I think of GC and DS owners as people who like brief, not to challanging, no risk of failure, type people.

Peoples who idea of fun is shallow **** & giggles.

There are so many compeling games to be played and ALMOST none of them are on those two systems.

gaming has never been main streem . it is a hobbie that is done like any other . but ms and sony are doing the worng thing . there pushing very expensive hard ware on us and expensive games. if they want more people into gaming they need to make it for everyone. do you think if someone who wants to try gaming walks into a eb games and sees the price of the systems do you think they will want to buy them? when they see an expensive ps3 and a expensive 360. not only is the systems expensive but its 60$ a game! plus if ur not into hard core games theres not much to pick from . when they walk over to the ds . they see a 129$ system with games under 30$ . plus the games are made with everyone in mind . what system do you think they will take home if any . lets face it hard core gamers are a very tiny percent of the worlds population . most people in the world have not even touch a video games in there life. consoles are made to be cheap! but now the companys are pushing systems as expensive as a mid ranged pc.deadmeat59
