Third party games can't compete against the big N
You haven't even touched a UPad, so how would you know

This is the theology that lets Nintendo get away with making terrible hardware.
The N64 and GC were not perfect for third party software but they had it in addition to amazing games.
Nintendo are not the holygrail of video game developers. Retro and Rare were great for the GC, N64. Many games are better than first party titles they push out, stop lionizing them.
SMG was amazing but are you saying Kirby for the Wii is a crowning achievement in game design?
ORly
Then why didn't RARE work for Microsoft
Microsoft was not in console gaming... Nintendo treated Rare like **** in the N64 and GC days do a google search. Nintendo caused alot of the staff to leave so when Microsoft bought Rare they did not get the same company.
Examples of 2nd party and 3rd party games outdoing Nintendo games.
Banjo Kazooie > Mario 64 so hard they canceled the sequel.
Dinosaur Planet was looking to outdo Ocarina of Time so Miyamoto shoehorned Starfox into it to make Rare push the game back to the GC as Starfox adventures
Diddykong Racing > Mario Kart 64.
Gamecube :
Eternal Darkness 2nd party
Resident Evil 4 3rd party
Metroid Prime 2nd party
Tales of Symphonia 3rd party
Nintendo are the holygrail of software developers though right?
