MP3 will be the epitome of awesomeness.

With MP3 Nintendo effectively wins TWO genre wars. It will have THE BEST FPS CONTROLS in any game to date, and the only games that will be able to beat it will be on Nintendo Wii since thumbsticks can't come close to the Wiimote.

Furthermore Metroid Prime has, bar none, the best puzzles and adventure ****play in a video game. Just look at Phendrana Drifts, that place was AMAZING. It's hard to imagine something topping that, but with Wii's superior hardware MP3 will do it no doubt (with some help from the awesome developers).

Metroid also has some of the best stories in gaming today. Fueled by excellent lore and a strong backstory. Sure, for your average overweight american lemming they might not like reading the scans and such, but for everyone else this is golden. Also, speaking of scans I was looking at literacy rates statistics earlier and they've been going up since 2002. Coincidently this is when MP came out and made people actually work for the story. Just some food for thought, but Nintendo could very well be indirectly increasing literacy rates.

It's a great time to own a Wii. August 27th will own. Also, it's not to late. Cows, lemmings, hermits, us sheep will embrace you should you decide to turn to the good side.

you make me, as a sheep, feel ashamed. us sheep have learned time and time again not to overhype. remember zelda. remember spm. remember a whole crapload of games.nintendo already leads 2 genres. action adventure with zelda games, and will always hold that title with OoT, and fighting with melee, and soon to be brawl. i dont doubt nintendo will find ways to make fps games amazing with the wii mote, but red steel was supposed to be the revolutionised shooter, and it wasnt that good (even though i enjoyed it).HappySunnGuy

I assume you mean that Corruption will have the best FPS controls for a console game. While the Wii has a potentially superior controller design for FPS games, its prowess hasn't been proven in a fully-fledged game as of yet.

Contrary to your claims, I would like to put forward that the Myst series has superior puzzles to the Metroid series.

METROID PRIME HAS THE BEST STORY EVER?!!!!!!!! Final fantasy 6,7,8,10,12; MGS series, Halo series, God of war series, Legend of zelda series, and Prince of persia series all have better stories.
