Nintendo is the greatest game company of all time

Over two weeks of voting following a week long preliminary nomination period, and System Wars has declared which company it believes to be the best. With half the total number of the 400+ votes mustered, this one company that System Wars believes is the greatest game company of all time is:

Nintendo managed to beat out other finalists Valve (runners up), Sony, Rockstar, and Blizzard. The final standings, as well as the final poll results, are all supplied below.

So, how many of you agree? Is Nintendo the greatest game company of all time?

It all comes to this: the final round of the competition that began a week ago.

In that period, hundreds of points' worth of votes were collected, and five companies emerged as finalists, handily trouncing every other company in the running:

1. Nintendo, with 3075 points
2. Sony, with 1875 points
3. Valve, with 1860 points
4. Rockstar, with 885 points
5. Blizzard, with 810 points

In this final round, you vote for the one single company that you think is the greatest game company ever created! It's a no holds barred competition, that will last for the next fourteen days!

Origin Systems. Ultima is the father of RPG's(along with Wizardry) and they still haven't been topped.

Dammit, should've voted Rockstar to win over Nintendo, Valve is a lost cause now :x

TBH I don't get why Rockstar is so popular. Sure they can generate an atmosphere but the games I've played by them have been meh.

I just want to point out that microsoft is the only one not really represented up there. PC gamers are represented by vavle and if not valve then deffinately by blizzard. Ninty and SOny are both up there. THere isn't a single MIcrosoft studio nor microsoft itself up there.

Also, Grand Theft Auto IV was underwhelming.

Not to mention Manhunt 2, which was bad.

If i had to pick a dev anywhere. i gonnasay bungie. not because of halo... it's their involvement with the community is outstanding and even above most of the mmo devs out there that

Rockstar worked with the studios that created MP3, and LA Noire--they weren't behind it themselves. This is an issue when you have a company that has branches all over the world, like Ubisoft for example. GTAIV was disappointing, but EFLC was quite fantastic.Stevo_the_gamer
