Nintendo: "many more games" to come this year

"Although the number slightly decreased after the beginning of this calendar year, a lot of consumers are playing Nintendo Switch with the recent March release of Capcom's Monster Hunter Rise, so we don't think that the momentum is fading. Many new software titles will be released this fiscal year, starting in the first quarter, which we think will help continuously expand the range of consumers who play Nintendo Switch to include those who haven't played Nintendo Switch in a while or are completely new users."

I'm ready Nintendo. Bayonetta 3, NAOW!. Am I rite, SW? What's on your wishlist to come out this year for Switch?

I don't think we will see Bayonetta, BotW2, or Metroid this year. I expect there will be about 4 or 5 Nintendo published games, but they will all be things that haven't been announced yet.

If they had to damage control, i am certainly not the only one poiting out how piss poor Nintendo has been at delivering NEW games since 2019.

Would love to see Breath of the Wild 2, Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3/X 2 myself for sure. Those all probably aren’t going to come out this but they still have a number of games coming out soon that I’m really looking forward to plus still got a bunch already out that I’d like to get around to getting.

Well they need to announce something because it's very bare at the moment... I desperately want Bayonetta 3. I'm sure we'll get a couple of surprises too.

New JRPGs. Still need to buy a Switch, they sold out everywhere.

It's always funny watching Sony shills pretend that Nintendo is in some kind of drought. Although I guess you've got heaps of free time to attack Nintendo, since you're bored of replaying Demons Souls and Spiderman, and you'll have to wait a while to replay The Last of Us 1 and FF7 Remake?

Well, Pedro, i don't get you, Mr Pedro. In one thread you say that i try too much, then you say that i tray waay too much, then i don't try enough and need to try harder. Make your mind already. All this stress on my shoulders is not cool.

The new Donkey Kong rumor is easily the most exciting thing to me. I'd also like to see Splatoon 3, Octopath 2, Super Mario Kart Maker, a new 2D Mario game (or an actual good 3D game), and a continuation of family party type games. Honestly (although I know it's unlikely) I think getting Gamepass or a PC oriented service tied into Nintendo Online would be awesome.

Also, although I'm not a trophy/achievement whore I would love to hear more about Nintendo adding their spin on that. They talked about adding it a couple years back and said it was coming and then things went cold. I honestly think that of the big 3 that I would care most about achievements on Nintendo games.

I would love to see a new Donkey Kong too.

I don't know if Nintendo would put Game Pass on their system. They are notorious control freaks.

I'd be tempted with Twilight Princess HD or a new Four Swords, but I'm kind of over most Nintendo IPs.

Hopefully games from 15 years ago, that cost 60 dollars.

Metroid Collection, where the **** is it?

If Nintendo announces Xenoblade Chronicles 3 or X2 ...

I would literally have a heart attack. I would be so happy. I feel like I would be able to die blissfully and peacefully.

Honestly don't expect more than one or maybe two games a year of theirs I want to buy anymore. Got Persona 5 Strikers and will get SMT3: Nocturne too. I am fine with that. A new Meyroid or Zelda or whatever will be cool whenever they come, maybe Bayonetta 3 if Platinum isn't juggling too much (they always seem to be).

I would love to see some more Fire Emblem on the Switch. I was shocked when I couldnt find an old port in the eshop this weekend. Give us ports of any of the 3ds / 2ds / gba please

Rumor is they have some kind of full remake planned. Also, 3DS and 2DS are the same system.

Well... I am not expecting the current "big 3" to be released, which is Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, and Breath of the Wild 2. I am also not expecting the rumoured 3D Donkey Kong to come out either. It was rumoured to be 3D right?

I'm also not expecting a new 3D Mario entry. I remember Mario Galaxy 2 coming out of nowhere, but right now, no indication that such a thing is happening with the Switch.

I anticipate the announcements to be what they are, Mario Golf, Splatoon 3, and that's it.

We'll see what E3 has to bring in a month.
