As much as I hate those commercials it's probably in their best interest to keep using them. When one of the commercials pop up you immediately know what the commercial is for and that is exactly what they want to do.

As long they advertise it like crazy so everyone knows the game exists it will sell well. Everyone who owns a Wii knows who and what Mario is, they just need to know the game is ready to buy.

I seriously hate these commercials. Even the Japanese Wii intro logo is 20 times better than the American one.
