Neither, because I am a gamer and the end of one or the other would be a severely deep wound to the competition of the industry in general. And although the Wii has not appealed to me at all until recently, I still plan on getting one for games like No More Heroes, which I just will not be able to play on my PS3 or 360.
A broad variety and stiff competition between developers and console manufacturers only means that we....the gamers are the ones who ultimately benefit. Unfortunately though, there will always be close minded, flag waving, brand loyalist fanboys who will constantly pray for the competitors of the consoles that they worship to fail so that they can feel a false sense of warm and fuzzy victory over opposing fanboys on message boards. But of course this ignorance goes along without ever taking into consideration the fact that the gaming industry as whole would end up taking a hit as a result of such a thing happening.
If Nintendo just stuck to handhelds it would be a wonderful era of gaming.tomarlynyeah Nintendo is such a blight on gaming. How dare they make amazing games like SMG which basically saved the platforming genre

Well, you couldn't say platforming wouldn't have been saved with Banjo Threeie.

Yeah great games which they can continue on their great handheld's, which is what they're best at. Many people that take gaming seriously as a hobby will unlikely look twice at their consoles since the Wii (unless they're a die-hard fan), its such a shallow platform.
*yah yah IMO yah yah*
If I had to choose, Sony. PS3 was too dissapointing, especially for me being a proud PS1 and PS2 owner.
I'm in love with too many Nintendo franchises these days anyway.
