Nintendo released their system today to compete with Sony and Microsoft

I picked up 2 of them today. Seems pretty cool. It doesn't come with a charger, only a USB-C cable. It says on the official Nintendo website that you should connect it to a Nintendo AC Adapter model CLV-003, the one included with NES and SNES Classic Edition. I'm wondering, would the USB-C charger included with Switch be safe to use on it? Would an iPhone AC adapter be safe to use on it?

I am surprised that the Game & Watch Super Mario Bros. costs $10 less than a physical Switch software title even though the LCD is in full color. I just bought one early this morning from Best Buy.

Looks cool, I was thinking of getting one too, not sure if I’d keep it in the box unopened or actually use it. The price is right though.

Man I wish Sega didn't mess up that Game Gear, would have been boss. Especially modded.

All games should be on PC and it is a waste to have to buy a console to play exclusives. However, XSX and PS5 do provide more powerful hardware and possibilities for console gamers. This game and watch trash is just a pure waste as it is not providing any new capabilities. The games can be played on the Switch, 3DS, etc.. There is no good justification for it to exist. Waste of plastic/electronics and just polluting more. Companies like Nintendo should be more environmentally responsible. Shame on Ninty and anyone who buys this!

Got one. Not planning on opening it though, just got it to collect. Nintendo products gain value.

I actually would not mind having one if you can get it to work as a functioning clock, with a stand for it and permanently plugged into electricity with the screen always working. It would make a cool shelf piece.

Amusing you mentioned sheep and Mario as in Super Mario Odyssey, as there are times in the game where Mario helps a sheepherder get his scattered sheep back. The sheep depicted in that game are what you expect of them.

@BassMan: Agreed, I know I've likely called consoles useless plastic boxes, but of course thats just SW hyperbole. Console fans get many thousands of hours of enjoyment before their purchase ends up in a landfill.

Wonder exactly how long the novelty of this thing will last before it ends up there?
