Seems like the big news here is that Nintendo actually had decent stock for two weeks in a row. If I'm not mistaken, these last two weeks have been the biggest for Switch since it's launch week. They have been good about getting units out for a big game launch, but always went back to supply constraints the following week. Hopefully, this is a good sign for stock to come. Didn't they say that July would be when they'd be able to get more consistent stock to stores?

Also, I'm surprised Splatoon 2 dropped as much as it did this week, given the hardware sales. Perhaps new Switch owners are now picking between Mario, Zelda, and Splatoon as their first game for their new system.

Great numbers for the PS4 and 3DS family, both boosted by a great new game and special edition hardware themed to that game, It looks like PS4 might have a shot at matching or even passing PS3 sales in Japan, should Sony keep the system as its main console for three more years.

yea stock was hugely replenished worldwide in july. so the next npd should be really interesting.

100k is more than some games sell lifetime in japan....so doing that for the 2nd week of sales is still very impressive. splatoon1 settled at about 30k a week for a whole year in japan. it had better legs than mario kart 8 in japan.

In my Zelda predictions there were IFs in there. Like open world to be as supposed to be and various other things THEN i said we might see one of the best Zelda ever. I couldnt know if open world would be as intended, noone could. Therefore its called a prediction.

It seems open world aspects were top notch and yes, Zelda was one the best ever. Prediction ON POINT. I gave also more reasons why BOTW could be one of the best Zeldas ever , like the reason of Zelda having years of extra polishing/adding things/change for better/testing because game supposed was ready 2 years before its original release.
