@mesome713: The game had a good launch, but lacked longevity. It made $163M in 3 years. So after $100M in the first year, it only did $63M over the next 2 years. In console terms, $163M is equivalent to 2.7M units at $60 each (i.e. what Metroid Dread did in 3 months). Which is not bad, but quite low by Nintendo standards.

Nothing is lost in shutting down this mobile game and I doubt most on this forum even care or even heard of Dragalia Lost. The gamers who post on this forum are not the targeted audience for mobile games.

I actually played this game when it launched. 😆

I mean it came across as something Squenix would release but not bad....for a mobile game. It was super anime for a Nintendo release, not enough waifu to keep me engaged.

You don't remember the Wii U era when EVERYONE (Gaming outlets, internet forum posters, YouTubers) pretty much grifted off it's failure, do you? They practically used the announcement of their mobile games as a sort of ownage and that Nintendo was going multiplat, ala SEGA. Then the Switch releases, then their mobile games tank.... yeah....

@nintendoboy16: I'm more surprised it lasted as long as it should have. Cygames has the massively successful horse waifu game, Granblue, and Princess game that all made more money than DL. Even Nintendo has FE Heroes.

Mobile game support being ended is always good news.

I tried Super Mario Run. It's like Super Mario, but shit.
Tried Mario Kart Tour. It was like Mario Kart, but epicly shit.
Tried Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. It was.. just fucking shit.

Don't even dare to think about how FE: Heroes, or anything else from them is. Didn't even know Nintendo were capable of creating such pure crap before they jumped into mobile gaming.
