Nintendo vs Capcom??

Ok fellas, not sure if this has been posted before (I haven't seen any threads about this) and this isn't obviously a confirmation of any kind, but I just found about Capcom making a VS game with Ninty:

- Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinoro Ono said he is interested to work on a Nintendo x Capcom fighting game, at the 3DS conference in Amsterdam. He said the idea should be pitched to Nintendo and Masahiro Sakurai, the producer of Super Smash Bros. series.

Wouldn't a game like that take the point and thunder out of SSB? It would be better if it was SSB with Capcom chars too.

Not that I´m interested in figthing games that much besides MK but between those two I would rather have Capcom doing it.

I would personally prefer a smash bros game, I'm not into traditional fighting games.

Although I guess it would be interesting to see a Nintendo vs Capcom game in the styIe of MvC or something like that.

It would have to be a SSBB clone, I can't see it's community surviving if it was a MvC clone with MvC3 out.

They will make two games because Capcom always has two developers SNK vs. Capcom/Capcom vs. SNK, and Street Fighter vs. Tekken/Tekken versus Street Fighter. So they will have Capcom versus Nintendo and Nintendo versus Capcom I would buy both because one would be a traditional 2D fighter and the other would be like Super Smash Bros and I have to try both.

That is if Capcom and Nintendo agree to make the game.

If Phoenix Wright is in it I don't care what style it'd be in, Street Fighter 4 or SSB, it'd be day one purchase at midnight for me.

Capcom seems to love cashing in on cross overs so I actually wouldn't doubt this is possible.

Well, the vs series has proven to be a magnificent idea for those who like fighters. MvsC is great, CvsSNK is great, SFvsT is looking awesome... would buy this in a heart beat (if I had a Wii that is :P)
