focus on connected networks, will boast a total of 168 exhibitors occupying 1,708 booths, surpassing the size of last year's record event.

While Nintendo appears to have opted not to make an appearance at the show, Sony and Microsoft will be in attendance, as will major publishers such as Sega, Capcom, Square Enix, Konami, Namco Bandai and Tecmo.

The four day event is expected to draw close to 200,000 people to Chiba City's Makuhari Messe over September 20-23. While the first two days are dedicated to professionals, the second half of the event will be open to the public.

Traditionally the show has run over three days but event organizers CESA decided to add an extra day for trade and press delegates to the 2007 event, most likely due to the scaled-down nature of this year's E3 Media and Business Summit.

Sony Computer Entertainment president Kaz Hirai will deliver the keynote at this year's event.

Yeah Nintendo has never attended TGS outside of Iwata's speech in 05, and they will likely hold exclusive events and or have larger presence at E4All and Leipzig. Their hold on Japan is so huge they really dont need to do anything, all their third party support will do the talking for the Wii and especially the DS over there.

I expect Nintendo to have a huge E for All presence since they are headlining it when it was first announced in March or something, and they usually have there own show in New York the same week or the week before TGS, they had it last year.

Yep, and with E4All since its for smaller devs they probably will wanna reach out for the Wii and DS in general, but also especially because of WiiWare, hopefully theyll show off some titles for it then.
