Even without it, it's not like the Vita will get western support since most western devs are all on iOS.
But it does look promising for the 3DS.
How was it Vitas final advantage? What Western 3rd party support has Vita ever got? Rayman?

That's not out for Vita.[QUOTE="groverslanding"]

Well, the 3DS will also get a CoD, so it doesn't count as "strong 3rd party support". I think it's just that cows are hyping it more than sheep are because sheep have better taste.

Yea, that isn't happening and if it does it won't be exclusive to Vita.
Even Bioshock Vita is two, three years away.
Good for the 3DS!
I own a 3G VITA that I pretty much bought at full price and am not looking forward to buying larger, more expensive memory for so . . . Other than that, I can not really complain! Could sure use more VITA users and have a better community, I suppose.
Again, good for the fans and supporters of the 3DS. As long as people enjoy and "get their game on" I am all for it. :)
The 3DS isn't the Wii. The DS had a lot of Western 3rd Party support so I don't see why the 3DS will be any different. They said the same thing about the Wii. I don't believe them. NoA couldn't negotiate to save their lives.

Out of curiosity, what exactly was the strong western 3rd party support the DS got? The only thing that immediately comes to mind for me is Scribblenauts and GTA Chinatown Wars.[QUOTE="Eponique"]

It will be different, many moved on to other platforms; android, ios, social networks.

DS games A-I
DS games J-R
DS games S-Z
EA, THQ, Majesco, Disney, Eidos, Zenimax, Ubisoft, Atari, Activision, Warner Bros., Midway, 2K, Rockstar games, Wayforward, and Vivendi Universal all supported the DS and all of those are Western Publishers/Developers.

Hopefully when those developers bottomed out on Android, iOS with the "race to the bottom" pricing scheme and realize they can't make enough money to invest the amount they want they might consider making retail handheld games again.
I'm sure just as many devs will be lost in the apps stores for the same reasons they got lost at retail on consoles.
Great, now I'm waiting the inevitable 3DS XL or 3DSI and then I'll buy it. Miroku32There will be one, but not before next year, I should think
Yikes...Sony's Vita showing at E3 needs to be nothing short of orgasmic if they want to stay in the game. Mind you, they'll never beat the 3DS (which deserves to win), but I personally prefer my Vita. Don't die yet, little guy!tarzanell
If memory serves me correct, the VITA E3 shoiwing was great and fans reacted so good towards SCE's event. . . The real trials came after (and will continue down to this years E3).
I am looking forward to Nintendo's E3 way more for meaty stuff. But I do want to see some positive trends show up for SCE's E3 showing.
They said the same thing with the GC and then again with the Wii and now again with the Wii U. Once the PS4 and next Xbox come out and if their hardware is considerably more powerful then 3rd party's will jump ship. 3rd party games all flopped on the Wii, Nintendo systems are just to play Nintendo games and the trend started with the N64 and is been going for so long that it'll be hard to change.
