Nintendo Wi-Fi isn't really that bad.

The only thing that seems to be wrong with Ninendo Wi-Fi is their friend code BS, but that seems to very simple to correct, so to me, NINTENDO games on Wi-Fi should be great. MSC was great, no glitches on min unlike Madden and Nba Live, but those aren't Nintendo games. I am only talking about NINTENDO games, (e.g. The blue circle on the top left corner), SEGA games, Mario and Sonic, Nights, etc. should be good too.

Compared to a unified service like XBL or even PSN, it's pretty crappy, but if all you want to do is play games online, lag free, it's fine.

Other than friend codes, there's nothing wrong with it. It's just light years behind Live and PSN.

What? Of course it is. Typing in 12 numbers is probably the worst thing I've ever done. I'd rather cut down a 100 trees for a week straight with a butter knife than do something like that. Horrible!

The Friend Code thing isn't as much of a hassle as people make it out to be... but in general, the implementation of them in the first place is just stupid.

This is probably my #1 or #2 complaint with the Wii. You'd think that after Nintendo put NO effort into online last-gen, they'd at least try this time. So far, there's only four games I can think of that can be played online.

The problem with wii's online is that there is so little online games right now. That will change , but fo now it is a major issue for me. But it is free , so it does not make much of a diffrence anyway , so I guess it is not too major of an issue.

If they would just let us send friend request to people then it would almost be bearable.

FC's aren't the only glaring problem IF I was assigned just one FC, I could care less if that's all I had for all my games. The other problem is the attitude Nintendo has with online gaming being "dangerous" in some way that you can't even communicate online with random people and in this instance for Wii, your own friends. :|

Playing online is nice, but I'd rather have more features in my game modes too... SSBB may change that though, co-op and many gameplay modes are online... that sounds good. BWii has three different online modes too, but co-op can't work without voice chat... that just makes no sense. :|

Not even close.... friend codes is like having to type in website IP adresses instead of a name. And even every damned cell phone saves a person's name with the number.... zero excuse for the Wii.

Once you type in the number, it is saved to memory (you only do it once). Also, as far as I can remember, SMC shows the names of all your registered friends.

The Wii (and its games) do save the name and number. :|
