Nintendo Wii will have the best game of 2009.....

Yes, you heard it first here. PS3 can have its Demon Souls and Uncharted 2. XBOX 360 can have its Forza 3 and well...multiplats since ME 2, Splinter Cell Convictions and Alan Wake are all 2010 releases. Yes, the Wii will have the best and most enjoyable game of 2009. What is it you ask? It a game that every gamer has been waiting for....Its New Super Mario Bros. Wii. I mean seriously, who hasn't been waiting for a new side scroll Mario game? I like my Modern Warfare and MAdden as much as the next guy, but this game will take alot of my game time once it comes out.

Meh. Only way I'm ever getting a wii is a new Zelda.

Umm yeah I have UC2 and Demon Souls going to pick up Fifa10 on tuesday, but yet im really excited for the new super mario bros game. I cant wait.

Even if you were talking about exclusives, there is no way NSMB will be better than Uncharted 2, Halo ODST, Demon's Souls, or even Forza 3.

It is probably going to turn out to be a fun game, but say it is the best game in 2009 is a subjective point that I will have to disagree on.

Really? I was under the impression that Shadow Complex dissapeared completely from SW like about a month after release :o. And? Also, LBP and Braid brought different things to the genre. LBP had the 4 player co-op (local OR online), level creation to such an extent, and the ability to share levels made within the community. Braid was a cheap arcade game that was an amazingly fun value for the price, had beautiful graphics, and had a fun, unique time- based mechanic that made the game well worth the price. Again, and? Its 4 player Mario. Not only that its going to be hard as hell. And it can easily match LBP because despite LBP's endless level customization ect the platforming itself can compare to Super Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros is simply the better platformer.

I dont think it will be GOTY but I am very interested.

Best two I think it and Little King'a Story. 3 if you count MPT. I couldn't care less about uncharted or forza thats why I own a Wii play it everyday and love.

I was more excited for this before I heard it didnt have any online, most of my fiends hate wii so having online for Wii's games is a must for me. Still, should be fun for single player.

I'm in the same boat as these two. I'm not sure if it will be GOTY (I haven't even played it yet), but I am pretty excited for it now, especially after I sawthis trailer.

Plus, it's going to be really difficult like the old Mario games. They are allowed to this now with their in-game guides. All the better for the "hardcore" gamers, right?

The only 2 games I'm waiting for the Wii are Zelda and the next Star Fox. Otherwise.. Well I don't know, if my money is dying to be spent on a game, PS3 comes to my mind first with PC second.
