Quit (*%$#)( Holding back your stock of Wiis. This *(%*# isn't funny anymore. Ok, I admit it, I hated your system...with a PASSION I hated your system...but you've changed my mind with all of your 1st party awesomeness. House of the Dead 2 and 3 don't hurt, neither does Umbrella Chronicles...actually they've helped you quite a bit...so does Zak and Wiki...whatever this isn't a games thread...

I've been searching for 1 week now. I've called countless places trying to find a Wii, each time they answer me with, "There is no way to know if they will be on our trucks...just show up at and see if we have one."

BS Nintendo, its not funny anymore. Build me a Wii or you will make me hate you again.

(Can someone help me find a Wii?)

Nintendo isn't holding stock, stores are. I know that Best Buy does this for a fact and somtimes bring out Wiis at random times and announce it so customers come running for it.

Go to Sears. That's where most people seem to get them around here. Unless you know someone who works in a store that stocks them.

Go to your big box stores at opening on Sundays, that's your best bet. Go to Wal Mart frequently, find out what days they get trucks and pray.

When a company sells more than a million of anyhting in a month, you are going to see shortages.

Yes keep saying this. The problem is supply and demand. If Nintendo was literally controlling their market wouldnt MS and Sony do the same thing. its just backwards logic because its impossible to have complete control ofver this.

That's such crap though. You know they will sell out no matter how many you put there. Everybody I talk to just laughs and says that they sell out within minutes. Thanks for the itrackr link though, I've got it set up on my blackberry...here's hoping.

You picked the wrong time of year to start looking for a wii. They arent holding back they are shipping 1.8 million a month. Its just that everyone wants one right now.

Stores do this will all systems the problem is after awhile it doesnt work anymore for most systems. They did it with PS3 and 360 as well. Besides that it wouldnt change much if people did actually want it.

You people need to stop jumping around these esxcuses and face the fact the Wii is the video game system people prefer right now.

Nintendo is definitely not holding back stock. They are manufacturing 1.8 million Wiis a month total for the entire world - it's all they can do.

They sold 650k units in two weeks in the US alone. They're not holding back. There's just way too much demand.
