Yes, I'm citing VGChartz as a source, now go cry ^_^

165,134 (16,476,345)
96,123 (3,359,404)
90,442 (8,061,869)
37,768 (3,511,779)
31,489 (41,895,102)
27,598 (1,436,124)
3,518 (19,522,806)

Chartzzzzzzz

The DS stays high up, thanks to Pokemon. PSP gets a boost thanks to the Slim (Has it released there yet?). The Wii is going to take over soon.So I guess that makes 2/3. The 360's lead in the US will belengthened thanks to Halo 3. :x

Oh and 360 > PS3 lawl.

Even if the number of VG Charts were not good everyone knew it would happen sooner or later....The main question is can Nintendo keep their hold on number 1 with Halo coming out..I think they will lose it until Mario comes out then it will be Nintendo for the win.

The PAL Software charts from Chart Track disagree. I think there was only one PC title in the top 40 and that was BioShock.

Only covers the UK (I think), although I don't tend to look at sales figures. But if it only covers the UK, then PAL just isn't legit.

The popular belief is that the PC is more popular in general (in EU). Although I wouldn't know, nor care.

If these numbers are accurate it looks like the Wii is approaching the Xbox 360's total sales.

The Pal numbers do not count downloaded games. I don't know the percent of games that are bought online but it may be enoght to equal why the numbers of sales are not showing.

It's silly to even refer to "europe" as one area a company can even dominate. It's an entire continant for crying out loud.

"Hey man, Sony has the northern hemisphere ON LOCK!"

Yeah, that's a point too. In fact online distrubtion is getting very popular in the PC arena.

It's not. PC isn't more popular than PS2 in Europe, and software sales are poor for PC period. You are half correct, PC is more dominant in EU than anywhere else in the world.

Oh snap!

Well, it lists Australia :P

If anything, if we take Australia out. The Wii is even more closer to the 360 ^_^

I have to disagree. The 360 would have to sell north of 900K in order to beat out the Wii. It'll definitely have a chance of beating the Wii in the US monthly sales, but I think it will not be enough.

Sorry but your numbers are bogus. I'm not saying the Wii isn't selling well ( i think everyone's aware of this... so the thread would be pointless even then...). The issue is that VGCharts has been long known as something not to rely on. Remember when they shaved 800,000 units off the Wii sales? They just take educated guesses. Simple.

For example; their UK charts numbers are way off. Football manager is epic in terms of sales. And MotoGP should be way up there too, but isn't.

I am pretty sure that the Wii has surpassed the 360 in Europe. However, one thing is for sure and that is the that the Wii is ahead of the 360 in worldwide sales.

I was talking more about by month not overall. Without Japan the 360 will never have a good chance of being the Wii overall.
