THe people buying the DS lite mostly arent going to have the original, its to appeal to a wider market and rejuventate the system for 2006. SP sold much better than the original GBA, because of Time! No way i totally disagree. Nintento is such a big name and when moms who dont know what they are doing go out and buy systems for their kids they will by a ds just cuz they know of nintendo.

Yeah I know I did. After I seen how much better and brighter the screen was. And the fold-up design was perfect. The regular GBA's screen was way to dark. And then they would try and milk you with these add-ons to make the screen brighter.
