This is a really good article, about why most 3rd party "Casual" games on the Wii aren't selling, and also about Nintendo's long term plans.

It would seem that the Wii will not be a fad and that Sony and Microsoft should be more worried than they are... Who knows what the future will bring though...

What do you think of the article?

I believe there is a place for all types of games now that the market is big enough to support it.I'm not a Wii fan but it doesn't bother me that it exists.

I agree, there is plenty out there. I just wish nintendo would stop beating the bush and just quit telling people they still care about the "core" gamer who's been with them for years.

I've always liked this article. It seems that Nintendo is trying to let the third parties carry the core games more, while they're working on more bridge titles. I'm pretty sure that they're going to bring out another load of core games nearer the end, when the bridge titles have helped to expand their core market.
