Nintendo's strategy just sitting around waiting for the next Miyamoto game

With the lack of AAA and even AA games the Wii has it seems Nintendos strategy has gone back to what it used to be, a strategy that let Sega take over 52% of the market nice to know some things never change like Nintendos laziness.

Nintendo's strategy is a brilliant one, it prints money for a reason. Don't fault them as a business.

That is a better list. True, The Wii hasn't gotten a AAA at GS for quite a long time, but if you look at other websites (which I know is forbidden here) there are quite a few AAA Wii games from the recent months.

Nintendo is very profitable. And don't forget the heavy hitters are coming out this year and the beginning of next.

If you are limiting yourself to look at GS AA scores, that's very sad. I'm playing NSMBWii right now, and it deserves at least a 9. I know it's easier to play scores rather than games.

As far as determining flops and such, yes GS is the only score considered. However, anyone basing their purchases solely on one gaming website is incredibly picky.

Well, that strategy seems to have an end-result of them rolling around naked in a huge money pile... so I'd say it's working real good so far.

You'd think they have enough money now to open another Retro studios and make more AAA games. It's like they don't care for those games anymore. themyth01

I feel like Nintendo is slowly starting to change and is beginning to cater more to its loyal fanbase. You can see this with Mario, Metroid, and Zelda all being released this year. Not only that, they are also making Pikmin 3, Monado, Sin & Punishment 2, and Retro is also making on an undisclosed title.

My point? Don't lose hope in them yet!
