I think it's safe to say that 2007 belongs to Nintendo. Get ready for DS lite shortages starting this weekend. And can you please find a Wii for me on the shelves? DS and Wii are the most innovative consoles since they put out the NES.

I have to admit I was wrong and simultaneously apologize to anyone who was banking on my guess that Wii would be available in mass supply around mid-April. Here we are and they are still nowhere to be found. Luckily enough, I have mine and the games are finally starting to roll out to the point I am satisfied. If you can find one, I still recommend picking it up.

1st come the sales then come the games. Why do you think GCN flopped so hard. Only 20 Mil for how many years on the Shelf?

It looks like it. At least it's helping the gaming market continue to grow which is a good thing. Whether the Wii sells the most in the end or not, I still think the Xbox 360 and/or PS3 will do very well which will be a good thing to show that there is still a demand for more powerful hardware.

Nope.

3rd Party games tend to be made for the system with the highest sales. Read: PS2. GCN lost 3rd Party due to very poor sales.
