I think people are giving Kojima too much credit for this. He's only the producer after all (not to mention that his studio aren't even the main development team) and he seems to have his hands full with Peace Walker and Rising. Most of the kudos should be going to Mercury.

Kojima fanboys are the most annoying kind of fanboys. They praise everything he's involved in, but refuse to acknowledge anyone else.

Its always a Kojima trait all cutscenes are in engine :S i wish FF had went more down the use of in engine rendered cutscenes it wouldnt detract and just really to me feel like they break the game up to an extent.

The game faces some heavy competition with so many epic action games lately. And its a 3D CV so i have some doubts. At least the graphics are on the right track(Which is more than i can say for the previous 3D CVs), i hope the gameplay is epic as well.

Its always a Kojima trait all cutscenes are in engine :S i wish FF had went more down the use of in engine rendered cutscenes it wouldnt detract and just really to me feel like they break the game up to an extent.

I dunno, ground breaking CG cutscenes are sort of Final Fantasy's trade mark. It would not feel like a FF game without the over the top overly detailed CG FMVs :D

I'm still hoping Kojima doesn't have a large hand in it. I'd rather not have a Castlevania game with 20 hours of cutscenes.

guess you never played ZoE...that wasnt full of cutscenes, besides MGS has always been known for its cutscenes its like saying all James Camerons work is like Avatar when its not :P

Hopefully it'll also be a quality Castlevania game, one that doesn't just desert all Castlevania convention to be yet another God of War clone.

I preferred them just standing and talking with the subtitles. :P

this, its missing everything a normal castlevania has. im hoping its not just god of war with whips..... really though, it's got to have dracula in it somewhere, i mean he might be the very very last boss and you dont see him coming, but he's got to be in there somewhere.

The game takes place prior to Lament of Innocence. It takes place sometime in the 1040's. Dracula isn't even born by then.
