The only way I want all-digital is if the online service (in this case XBL) was to have portals set up to all the publishers who wish to sell games, and those publishers get to set their game prices at will, and distribute their games over their own channel.
Imagine Steam in a way.
I do not want pricing/game distribution to be at the mercy of the console maker.
I honestly like DD but isn't it too early to make the Nextbox 100% digital?

Dam their trying to make me stop using Gamefly :( First with the "Oh you want to play online give me $10" and now no Optical drive at all O_O also isn't it easier to pirate if everything is digital?
I love physical copies...... but ONLY for Music and Movies.
But for Video games, I really could care less about them. I've had some bad experiences when lending out to friends my actual physical discs to borrow, at the end they all end up being scratched or never returned. :(

Isnt it ironic? Complain about multi disc games, dont want to get up to swap. Future is no disc, never have to get up or store discs, and it's bad? I really doubt I am buying any consoles after this gen anyway.
No. If I can't have physical, I won't buy. DD has too much DRM and other stipulations at this time for me to invest in it, since most places won't even say you own digital content.
Depending on how much DLC permeates next gen's consoles and games, I may be going 100% retro. DLC is the biggest scam in the history of technology, and if the new XBOX is based on it, count me out
