MS saved the 360 with GeoW. They did a phnominal jab marketing it which mad it the killer app for MS. Of course this takes nothing away from Epic they created an amazing game. Props to MS for picking the right game to push. THey were the modle of the perfect Publisher.

I have a 360, but not Gears of War, and I don't plan on buying it either.

Are you serious? The ONLY reason GeOW sold as great as it did was the media blitz that MS created. Sorry but without MS, GeOW would not be thought of what it is today. Just look at halo 2. What do they both have in commin, An enormous media blitz that sold them millions the first days.

MS is what made GeOW successful. BTW I barely play the game. Seeing its greater than every single game I have for my ps3, what are you saying about that? Resistance makes PS3? It would be pretty sad seeing after 30 minutes of playing it I couldnt pick the controller back up. It was too bland, too boring, just trash.

 Yeah, it had 1 AAA and 4 games over 8.7 at launch, and PS3 seven month after launch doesn't have EVEN ONE exclusive 8.7 game.
