No hype for FEAR 3?

FEAR ranks as my #1 game of all time. FEAR 2 wasn't too bad either. But I am surprised by the lack of hype here. The game comes out tomorrow, and it looks like it is having a very quiet release so far.

Only disappointing thing I've heard about the game so far is that it is less than four hours long. But who knows, maybe MP would make up for it.

It was disappointing compared to the first game, but by no means was it bad.

still trying to figure out if i should care about it, i loved fear 1, fear 2 was meh except for the crazy ending, fear 3 looks like it won't have ANY horror aspects to it at all.

There is only one F.E.A.R. game.

There will NEVER be any hype for this "series" again. It died as it started, in 2005 with the original. One of the greatest shooters of all time with some of the worst sequels of all time. It's like The Matrix of videogames.

It just looks plain bad, which is unfortunate considering how much potential the original FEAR showed. The attempts to make the game into more of a console centric experience pretty much ruined the entire series.

FEAR OWNED! In my top 3 games of ALL time, love that game. FEAR 2, I feel, gets too much hate usually by people who haven't actually played it/people who didn't fully get into the FEAR story/n00bs. Although I HATE that they changed the power/sound effects for the shotgun over FEAR's shotgun which OWNED...what were they thinking??

FEAR 3 looks...I don't know, OK I guess. I hope it's really good but my expectations have drastically dropped ever since I heard Monolith wasn't making it but I hope it's still at least descent. In fact, I'm going to play it right now as I've got the game early...yes, that's how much I haven't been that hyped for it and I'm a HUGE FEAR fan.
