Well, I'll be damned.

If you took No Mans Sky for what it was, a £10 indie game, it would be fine.
But Sony decided to scam people and encouraged naive, young Sean Murray to hyperbole.

I agree

I 2nd that though I don't believe sean murray is naive ... at all
Word recently too is that the game license might be bought out by either Ubisoft or Bethesda. Can't imagine these indie hipster programmers want to work for anybody they can call 'The Man' that won't let them come to work in a bath robe and flip-flops.
I want my refund before Sean Murray gets an even bigger payday.
Aesthetically NMS is good. It's a design guy.
Not the end of the world.
Fuckibg gamers dude....most over reactive group save for ppl in politics.
Star Citizen looks awful and they need all the help they can get.
Did you travel forwards through time from three years ago?
@jasonofa36: Looks like Hello Games is a sinking ship.
"There had been rumors that the studio had been abandoned and talented coders were leaving, but now we know only half of those claims are true. While it’s not uncommon for developers to switch jobs after a project is complete, Bourn had been linked to Hello for nearly six years between Joe Danger and No Man’s Sky. A rocky procedurally generated universe seems like it wasn’t enough to keep that loyalty going."
They quote Derek Smart as a source of information, yeah must be an accurate article. /roll
So if No Man's Sky is a canoe and Star Citizen is a luxury liner what would Line of Defense be? A deflated innertube?
Maybe a leaking deflated innertube :)

Not even gonna click the link then. That guy should really quit talking about star citizen and focus on something else...like maybe his own god damm game.

Yep. He knew exactly what he was doing.

Yep. He knew exactly what he was doing.
He should really do the right thing and make a statement. The internet will never forget what happened with no man sky,but if he wants to continue doing what he loves he has to say something to the community. He wont be able to make another game until he does.

Yep, in this industry, people don't forget when you have screwed them.

Hahaha Sony scammed people... riiiiight
Let's see here:
"Published by: Hello Games"

Sony corrupted Seans mind, it's quite obvious they directed him.
Sony (being evil) jumped on the indie bandwagon and bled whatever they could dry.
Sean Mu 3 will probably be overblown as well.
Every time I forget how dumb some morons here are. I am always hastily reminded.
Typical comments of 1 designer from nms somebody who likely had no say in the direction the game took comes to starcitizen a game with over 300 people making it therefore obviously the project is now doomed..
Illogical reactionary Immature Plebs,
I would actually be OK with that.
I blame SONY, not Sean Murray, for the debacle that was No Man's Sky.
The game itself was actually a lot of fun if you can forgot about the last, ohhhhhhhh I don't know....two decades of gaming? and maybe just remember gaming for what it should be. But yeah promises were made and then broken and people deserve to be upset.
Totally OK with this guy going to Could Imperium, though, I think that is an awesome acquisition if true.
*lol just saw the Derek Smart bit ok bye bye
