A great score for a great game :) it's too bad No More Heroes didn't do well in Japan and quite surprising as I assumed this game had alot of Japanese appeal to it. I am hoping the sales in America & Europe for NMH are huge because this game is a fantastic Wii title and a steller experience as it manages to use the Wii-mote properly especially for a 3rd party title. A lesson for all 3rd party developers not to take the Wii so lightly.

I still find it funny & sad that they had to resort to selling Toilet paper with game to promote it in Japan:cry: :lol:

I don't agree with that mentality, but whatever, it's your money. I just wouldn't spend $50 sowillingly on a game that gets a 5/10 from a professional review site like Gamespot.

If a game I'm not interested in gets a 10/10, I'm not buying it. If a game I'm interested in gets a 5/10, I'm buying it. I can look over a lot of flaws if the main game appeals to my preference in games. Anyways, I predict No More Heroes reviews will be all over the place. I really enjoy Lair and the dragon controls fine for me, yet every reviewer criticized the controls. Those reviewers need to learn how to properly move the controller.

Yeh im the same way. Ive boughtmany badly reviewed games without a second thought, usually cheap though, not when its like when its fresh out. I bought Red Steel the other day for $30 Australian, thats like $25 American, and although i do notice the problems in it, i do have fun playing multiplayer with either mates or family members. Anyway No More Heroes is in the top 3 of my '2008 to get list' along with brawl and MOHH2 (damn late releases)
