Thats like expecting customers to come to the second floor, but not installing an elevator, or adding a stairwell.

They can only come up to the second level if they happen to have a trampoline.

Something seems fishy about this.

I hope they get rid of the stupid Microsoft points and let me just use my real money instead of having to convert it.

Maybe. I like the way that Sony's playstation cards work, I know exactly what I'm getting.

Converting points isn't so great. :/

maybe that is what they are going to do. it would be a good idea because sony does this with their content on psn. hopefully something comes up because it would suck if u couldn't buy money on cards anymore.

Maybe to you,, but not to thousands, likely hundreds of thousands, if not millions.

Sony never even supported it, so why wouldn't M$ screw up just as badly?

Just been to IGN's UK site, and I see nothing of the sort. The points cards are an important way in for people not into credit (by force or choice). The Gaming division would be seeing considerably less revenue if not for the cash customers. How else will the cash customers buy in online?

Plenty of them in the shops laddy, not so sure that MS would even consider stpping them.
