well im sure either Nintendo or M$ will die eventually. More likely M$ as far as in video games. Because they cant seem to make a good system. But as for now 3 is enough if not too many. 2 is a good number. One would be horrible. Sony seems like they know what theyre doing, even if the PS3 had a bad start. While i would love to see Sega come back into consoles, they never really could do it well after Genesis.beinss
And Nintendo has NO idea what they are doing:/

Nintendo is selling well because its suited for casual gamers and it costs a lot less. The X360 and PS3 are for the hard-core gamers.

The 360 is only $30 more for the Arcade.. and for the casual gamer that you beleive $250 is cheap, that extra $30 isn't much. The PS2 has sold over 120 million because of the casual... the Wii has plenty of hardcore type titles... but then again, a GAME itself is NOT and CAN NOT be hardcore. Only those who play them, Even tetris, a VERY casual game can be played hardcore.. so it should be considered a hardcore casual game?

By hardcore I meant shooters and stuff for mature audiences (Halo 3, Bioshock, Unreal Tounament 3, GTAIV, Killzone 2, COD4, Stranglehold, Postal 3, MGS4, etc.). Those games will not be for the Wii. The Wii is more of a family console with Mario, bowling games, etc. It does have a few shooters only RE4 and Metroid and maybe some others.
At the end of time there will be three things left.
Cockroaches
Nintendo, trying to expand the videogame market to cockroaches
And sony, copying nintendo
(notice the NOT sega)
