NO need for halo3 there is something BETTER

Folks,

I checked with Steve Polge and he said that YES we are supporting keyboard and mouse in Unreal Tournament 3 on PS3. He is confident we are doing it in a way that will be balanced without feeling "gimped" for either side. We'll also allow people to choose whether or not they want to allow mixed controller vs. keyboard/mouse games or not.

I think you guys are going to love UT3!

It is because everyone knows the PC is the best but also that they can't afford one or, more likely, do not have the technical knowledge to build one themselves. Thus when a console game tries to emulate a PC, especially on a typically PC only franchise, you get to see just how much the console fanboys all really wanted to be hermits all along ;).

Not seeing the point of the title of this thread, UT3 having K&M support will hardly effect Halo 3 sales ...

Although that is great news as i'll be getting the PS3 version myself and the PS3 controller is far from great for FPS.

I think I'm just going to buy the PC version.

yeh...that kind of seems pointless :roll:

KB and Mouse, get a gaming rig....seriously. the PS3 only takes usb kb and mouse.

Not to mention it doesn't even support my decent gaming mouse due to the fact i cant install the drivers to change dpi settings on the fly etc.

PC all the way, im not even sure how the modding community can use the ps3 as a modtool, without a proper OS installed. So anyone wanting to mod will most likely have to install linux.

Unless you get a disc to install it on your windows pc and can develop a level just for the PS3.

Yeah, I've never really been into UT, but if I do decide to get one it'd definitely be for the PC. Why would I bother buying an incomplete version of the game (no mod-making for PS 3 according to Epic, and potentially no mods at all on the 360)?

I am just going to get the game for my PC anyways, the PS3 is too expensive and little features like mouse and keyboard support on an inferior version are not buying points for me. Oh and sorry, but I will also purchase Halo 3 on my Xbox 360.smokeydabear076

Halo 3 can be modified in custom matches to play just like UT by upping the speed and other aspects like that.

There is no need for Lair there is something better.....

you know it might happen on kb/m vs controller servers. but epic is giving people the option to keep it separate or together on servers.

Yes, its easy to fide friends, everyone has a mic, easy to jump into peoples games. Besides, are you that cheap that you cant pay less then 5 bucks a month for great online?

Also, UT has had a bad past on consoles. I'm only buying it for PC.
