Well, if this is old, ignore it. Anyway, this is a tutorial of the StreamMyGame thing where you can stream your games from your PC to your PS3. They run from your PC and are streamed via your home network so it doesn't give any lag. If you look at the end, the guy is playing Crysis. It looks a little choppy but that's probably because his PC can't handle it. Something for someone who wants to do something cool with Linux. I would do this if I wasn't lazy enough to install Linux to my PS3 and learn how to use it :P

Crysis on my 32" Samsung LCD TV - on very high.

Need I say more

Photobucket

Still if your PC and Ps3 is in different rooms on a home network, this feature would be exellent

But wouldn't you still have gotten it on PC due the fact you need a PC to do that, so your comment doesn't make sense.

How does it not make sense?

Isn't Bioshock a PC game also? I wouldn't need to buy an 360 yet, I can just buy the game, I willprobably get a 360 down the roadproabably at the next price drop or if I can find a deal

That what I meant. Perhaps I took in what you wrote wrongly. I thought you meant as in you wouldn't need to get a 360 for it because you could do that lil thing with the PS3. Perhaps you were saying PC just in general.

I think you need a 200 and up video card to play bioshock on your computer. Maybe 150 and up.

Haha I love how I took no fanboy approach to this and I knew someone would make a comment like this lol

This is just for convenience. If you share your PC like a lot of people, you can play a game on it such as Gears of War if you're having a Gears craving on your PS3. If you don't like moving your PC around (who does that?), then, you can move your PS3 around. They're also planning on streaming via Internet. Say I want to play Counter-Strike Source cause I went to Europe to visit family and have fun for1 month. If I brought my PS3 (I don't know why I would), I could play my PC games through it. The main point is this is just a convenience thing and is a plus for all PC+PS3 gamers... End of story. So yes, we are winners. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to catch Leno.

Sir you have owned yourself by taking the time in writing a well punctuated paragraph to my remark.

Good Day.

You know. . . Streaming doesn't mean downloading. (Adding in the factor that online streaming isn't an option as of yet)

So ... using a HDMI cable to get the highest resolution and no lag or no need of a huge black box to stand in front of your LCD TV is no longer cool ?

HDMI = DVI. All current PC video cards use DVI. Either of the two options totally curb-stomp trying to stream the graphics over 100MBit ethernet that gives up at around 10-15MB/s. If you've got a computer capable of running these games, you've got a computer capable of simply plugging into your TV with $10 of cables from monoprice at worst.
