As far as I'm considered, they can take as much time as they want. Uncharted 2 was godly, they know they raised the standards for action games with Uncharted 2. Uncharted 3 is going to have to move mountains to equal or beat Uncharted 2.

UC2 is one of those games you go back to for a nice story bout a year down the line :P also your sig only isnt right with Gow3 it wasnt a flop it was hyped AAA on here :P

i have zero doubt that we will see another uncharted at some point.

that is a good thing. i would rather them do a new game...and not jak and daxter either. i wanna new IP. i would prefer a more adult-themed game like a mafia or something like that from them.

They have a strict 2 year development cycle. Its not a matter of whether or not its in development right now, its WHEN are they going to announce it.

My personal guess is that it will be revealed this december during the Spike Video Game Awards. There will prolly be commercials hyping the "reveal" just like Reach had at last years video game awards.

It's definitely in the pipeline. They'll probably be working on their engine, or with Suckerpunch on Infamous 2 for a while.

I'd only be interested if it's SP DLC, which it likely isn't. The multiplayer is completely broken for me. Connection error every match, and even when it did work it was still laggy. Sucks, as I liked a lot of things about the MP other than that it was broken, hopefully U3 will go all out on the multi or leave it out altogether.

I'm sure we will see UC3 out before the gen is over. This game makes money for Sony(not huge money like Halo does for MS) plus the storylines aren't connected and can stay fresh even with new iterations. No reason not to see another version out before this gen is over and another one to start of the next gen.

I just want a new AND REAL Jak and Daxter game =(

It will come, and no doubt it will be awesome.

Well we would be lucky to have the game by 2011 in time for holidays... But I really dont see that happening. Expect a 2012 October release date.
