I'm not a fan of watching boxing anymore either...I loved it for years but there is nobody to watch anymore...but this game lets you play as all those guys I used to watch....Mike Tyson!

I still stand by my last comment...but after watchin the Vid review, it looks pretty damn fun. Story mode, legacy mode and an arcade mode. DAYYYUMMM!

I'm getting it tomorrow :D. IDK, I've always liked boxing more than MMA (what can I say...I'm old school 8)) and the Fight Night series always got me hyped for the next releases. DethSkematik

Truth. Don King, and to a lesser extent Bob Arum are responsible for boxings demise for this very reason. As for the game itself, I had the opportunity to play the demo a while back and a bit of the full version today. My only real gripe is that they simplified the punch control. Taking the actual hook movement you had to perform with the thumbstick and making it a diagnol was a turn off for me. It looks good, better than the last 2 graphically. I do plan on picking it up still, I'm just meh about those controls.

Love Boxing, however didn't like Champion at all. It's not my type of gameplay changes.

Still prefer FNR3.

Fight Night is garbage. Every fight ends up like Gatti/Ward. The counter punching makes no sense and it makes even less sense in the scripted story mode fights. Only reason I play it is because there is no other boxing game to play.

I would agree but i have a knee injury that prevents me from really advancing in fencing, so sometimes sports games are a nice alternative and good games to play with mates are they have actual decent single screen multiplayer cant beat a 4 way 2 on 2 at Fifa thats just a good laugh.

I'm buying it

To me boxing is much more entertaining to watch then MMA, simply because you don't see guys on the floor half the time for the entire match. I know it's a viable way of fighting but I don't find it fun to watch two guys crawl around together on the floor. I think there is more honor when fighting on your feet, not to mention tapping out is such a lame way to end a fight in my opinion.

Im a fan of Boxing, have been since I was a lad, and the game looks great. Id rather miss out on the game though then buy another console to play it but I would buy the game tomorow if it was available on PC.
