isn‘t this supposed to be a live service game that receives support for 10 years? Looking pretty bleak unfortunately for this $500 million game. Anyone here still playing?

Anyway I played it and had a great time with it but like any other game I move on and play other games. There’s just way too many excellent games I want to play coming out these days.

As Pedro pointed out. I only played Halo: Infinite just for the campaign when it came out, the MP was missing content I barely bother with but yeah, solid campaign to end the series for good and I just move on. I do play MP from time to time on Steam however but it's really been just Slayer mode. The game does support cross-play, so I can't be certain if the numbers match on Steam charts.

Nowadays, I just go back to play Halo Master Chief Collection as it's a solid great Halo game to enjoy.

Its such an incredibly pathetic game that i am hearing rumors that as soon the game is mentioned at Microsoft, people look at the floor from cringe attacks.

This game is worse than Halo 5. Let that sink in, and nothing else needs to be added.

@jolyyoljogger: You are aware Halo Infinite is a free-2-play on Steam right? It's the Campaign that you need to buy though but lucky enough, it's dirty cheap to purchase now during Steam Summer sales now at the time of this post.

I've played a couple of matches at launch, was pretty meh. I only care for the SP which I have yet to purchase 😅

i didn't realise it was free on steam to be honest. then again i dont know jack about steam. just figured if you have a pc might as well play it with gamepass.

i play it now and again on my series x. the forced crossplay is not something i like and it should be an option for console gamers to disable it.

the SP is great, i really enjoyed it. lots of emergent gameplay that halo does best.

Yeah for sure, it's a nice combination of open world sections and more linear sections which Halo is known for.

Really wish they would put the DLC weapons into the singleplayer, as it has a nice system to unlock new guns, instead of putting them in that dumpster fire online mode.

Halo IP is in the most dire state we have ever seen it.

A free game on GP has hardly players on full priced Steam.

i dont really bother with changing weapons in SP or MP really. I like the assault rifle & magnum combo. only other ones i enjoy are the needler and rocket launcher really. i am crap with a sniper & most of the energy weapons

Look at the numbers, its the definition of dead. And don't worry, i will be permanently reminding everyone how dead it is, and how miserable the whole IP is at this point. Halo Infinite is exactly what you don't do with an IP.

Because you want your games to be in one library, you know, Steam? Why would you want it elsewhere when you're using steam on daily basis? On pc, nobody is playing it elsewhere, so the numbers you're seeing is how pathetically its been performing for a live service game.

Don't get me wrong I could not agree with you more about how horrible of a job they have done with this game. To be honest I play on PC Gamepass all the time, and I forgot that this game even existed lol.

edit: you know as well as everyone else that there have been many sites reporting on halo’s budget. Microsoft has not confirmed the actual costs, so expect that number to be even bigger.
