[QUOTE="charizard1605"][QUOTE="DaBrainz"] Honestly I don't know. I'm not worried about my WiiU being stolen. It's not a realistic scenerio. If it was, if my house was broken into the last thing I would worry about is my consoles. BUT, since you want to be silly, if you're in someones house taking their WiiU, it would be just as easy to swipe their discs at the same time. AznbkdX
I know, but I purchased stuff digitally on say the PS3, I could access it without rebuying all of it on any other PS3. Fine, since the Wii U situation seems so far fetched to you, let's make this a discussion about 3DS instead. As a handheld, surely it's much easier for it to get lost, no?My whole thing on this matter is that if you want to play a DL game, go and do it. I would rather play the game then not play it at all.
Most of them you don't even go back to, especially if they are indy games no less. If they are retail games I can see some cause for concern due to a higher price purchase but its still not half bad if you call Nintendo service, or be smart and not take your eyes off the device like any good owner would. If anything they shouldn't need to baby ppl on this stuff based off of random hypothetical situations, breaking consoles withstanding (although its a pretty good thing to do anyways in retrospect).
I'm not saying not having a better account system is fine, because there is always that slight insecurity in everyone on this stuff, but if its actually keeping you from buying things you want to play, then you need to sort yourself.
Oh I buy stuff from the eShop all the time. It's why I feel so entitled to criticize the setup.
