Nah, consoles have been producing better techical graphics since forever, after all PC gaming still isn't capable of doing HD, so I don't see why people who didn't switch already would do now
I thought I played games for much more than graphics? I for one has never been one to shove the whole "pc has better graphics than consoles". Btw I do think PC can achieve better graphics than any console but thats only because of the GPU. But the fact that I think, notice how I said I think, that PC has better graphics doesn't make me abandon console gaming. I still play console games, because I don't look at games as sony games, nintendo games, or microsoft games! I see games as games, and games are meant to be enjoyed and thats what I do. I play games for the sake of enjoying them.
Honestly I could care less what console any of you guys of system wars think is best or like or what I should play for what console/pc. I play games for myself not you or anyone else. I have a preference for PC gaming for much more reasons than graphics.
Do you seriously think I will abandon PC gaming over an technical award for 08?

Hmmm... just the other day, my friend and I played Far Cry 2, GTA IV, and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune in 1080p... Upscaled or Native? But does any of that even matter when you are having fun with the game?
There is no point in arguing it. Lets take for example how MGS4 won the award here. Does anyone think the game was programed on a PS3 or do they think a PC? Were the MGS movie parts created on a PS3 or a PC? Console games are first made on PCs as far as the programing, graphics and so on. It is no problem for a PC to be able to handle any console game's graphics but it is not the other way around. None of the consoles could handle Crysis maxed out.

MGS4 that's because gs didn't want to give it to an expansion pack. Had crysis or wic come out this year mgs4 would not have won it just pc has a number of 2007 game that are technically better than 2008 games.

According to Gamespot's MGS fanboy base they do. But to any other normal person it's obvious that Warhead has the better technical graphics, hell even 2-3 2007 games had better graphics.
Yes I agree with the TC. Even the Wii has superior graphics than a high end computer. And OMG think about the Cell that the PS3 has that thing must be 10x better than an i7! Even when the PS3 plays PS2 games it looks better than any PC game.
wow this is a stupid topic, the fact that PC's can output at 2560x1920 (1920p) whilst consoles can only do 720p..and only in a few instances do 1080p shows that fact PC graphics are better.
