Now that E3 has come and Gone

Will Lemmings realise that it was a failure for the xbox ?

1 - Lemmings wanted MGS4 to come to 360 and snatch away PS3's AAAAE but that failed and instead just got a multiplat.

2 - the only real exclusive game anounced was Crackdown 2 a sequel to a game that flopped.

3 - all they showed was some pheriperals like the wii.

Before E3 the lemmings were saying WAIT UNTIL E3, WAIT UNTIL E3, Well we waited and still no exclusives for microsoft.

ANYWAY there's always E3 2010 right ;)

Nintendo and Sony put on a press conference...

You made a few good points in there , but you forgot Halo Reach (although nothing was really shown) ..... and that awesome avatarcar game :P

Doesn't change the fact that MS had the best E3. And 2010 should be a great year for the 360, so i suppose people could wait, but i'm looking forward to playing ODST, Forza 3, SC: Conviction, as well as the awesome Gears 2 and GTA 4 DLC this year.

yeah, funny how he forgot about a Halo game (aka hype machine). Shadow Complex looks pretty sweet too.

1 - I actually played MGS4 on the PS3 and really enjoyed it, even though I wasn't a MGS fan. I would've loved the chance to replay it on the 360 for achievements.

2 - Yep loads of people loved Crackdown, and Crackdown 2 looks awesome. And who cares about exclusives?

3 - And Sony didn't?

...And exclusives don't matter that much anymore, it's the money platform companies make off multiplatform game sales.

The Wii doesn't win, only sales wise and that's slowing down. Only Nintendo makes money off it, most 3rd Party developers games never sale well.

i agree microsoft didnt really have any games that sets their system apart like sony and nintendo did...Supa__Mario

One press event won't change the fact the 360 still has the games and support to stand up as a console, in this generation, with a great library at an affordable bang for your buck price tag.

If anything, the only thing that went pathetically sour, is how MS and Sony are suddenly jumping (or trying to cash in) on the Motion Sensing band wagon.

Not saying its a terribly bad thing, its just hilarious that both companies are simply, (to put it in context by a particular sheep) rummaging through scraps, while Nintendo (successfully) rakes in the profits and laughs at their futile attempts at motion-sensing controls. :lol:

Well I for one didn't hype it either way before hand... but. (And I'll state right now I'm an Xbox owner who doesn't like Sony games division as a company)...

Anyway, I watched the MS press conferance and came away very satisfied. There were lots of games I saw that I said to myself..."self you'll be buying that one". I also watched Nintendos and said, snoooorrrrree. And then I saw Sony's, there were a few games there that I was enthralled by as well. Almost liked them enough that I thought about buying a PS3 even though I don't like Sony because I truely can't stand the top 4 or 5 people there and refuse to support them. At this point I'm rethinking that as Xbox360 has enough of the games I want to play there's really no reason to buy a PS3... God of War did look amazing though didn't it, it looks like it's going to be great.
