by flop they mean it was hyped something and got a score lower. Like Zelda was hyped high AAA and AAAA for some but it got a AA, so it flopped. Wow, just saw the motorstorm review, that shocked me, i liked the demo alot, i can't believe it got that low
For me personally my most disappointing "anticipated" game has been Red Steel. I was expecting something fantastic, especially something with insanely fun controls and.... Jesus... just terrible.
I don't know about Sonic... It's nowhere near a big enough flop (wasn't it hyped A? meh, I don't know) as anything else for one reason alone... It's Sonic... Though it scored pretty well for one... Biggest, flop? Red Steel... Heck, the previews seemed positive then, bam...
Zelda for sure. Sonic shouldn't be considered a flop since it did meet the hype. SSX hurt prety bad. I personally wasn't all that into Crackdown or Lost Planet to care too much and I was pretty sure that Red Steel and Motorstorm will flop after a couple of previews.
